Temperature-controlled logistics solutions provider Lineage Logistics LLC has named Mike McClendon president of Lineage Europe in support of the company’s expanding global presence.
He also will continue to serve as executive vice president of network optimization.
McClendon has nearly 25 years of leadership experience in the global cold chain industry. He served as president of Richmond Cold Storage until it was acquired by Lineage in 2011. In 2016, he was named EVP of network optimization to focus on Lineage’s strategic growth through acquisition, expansion and capital deployment.
“Mike’s deep experience in the global cold storage industry and demonstrated excellence in executing high-impact capital projects are an ideal and unique combination to ensure Lineage’s continued success internationally,” said Greg Lehmkuhl, president and CEO of Lineage.

American Airlines Cargo has appointed Tim Isik to the position of director of cargo sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
Isik (pictured above) previously led American’s leisure sales business across the U.K., Ireland and Iceland. Prior to that, he worked in corporate sales and managed some of American’s most important strategic accounts as the local point of contact in the U.K. and Ireland.
“Over the years, Tim’s hard work and passion for the airline industry has had a huge, positive impact on our business and the way we work with customers,” said Roger Samways, vice president of sales for American Airlines Cargo. “His experience and focus on the customer experience makes him the ideal person to lead such an important and integral part of our operation.”

From our hiring practices, which have resulted in nearly 50% of all new hires being minority candidates, to our support of employee resource groups like PA Pride, we will continue to foster a diverse and inclusive environment among our workforce.

The Port of Oakland in May handled 85,964 TEUs of loaded imports and 78,070 TEUs of loaded exports, up 4.2% and 8.4% year-over-year, respectively.
