Hendler named Matson controller

Matson's board has appointed Dale B. Hendler to vice president and controller, following the retirement of John E. Dennen. Hendler, 59, has held a variety of positions in accounting, finance and operations since joining Matson Navigation Co., a subsidiary of Matson, Inc., in 1980. Since 2005, Hendler has served as vice president of corporate development and planning. Prior to joining Matson, he practiced accounting at Deloitte & Touche....
