Maersk hikes westbound transatlantic rates

Maersk Line said Tuesday it will raise westbound transatlantic rates from July 1. The increases are $360 per 20-foot container, $450 per 40-foot container and $500 per 40-foot high-cube container from Northern Europe, the Mediterranean, and Black Sea to the U.S. and Canadian east coasts. From Europe to the west coast of North America, the increases are $400 per 20-foot container, $500 per 40-foot container and $550 per 40-foot high-cube container....
