DHL on Thursday opened its biggest express hub in Asia, a $175 million facility at the Shanghai Pudong International Airport. The company said it also plans to spend another $132 million to add eight dedicated planes to service high-demand routes between Shanghai and North Asia, Europe and the United States by 2014.
