Port Freeport, on the Texas Gulf Coast, has named Glenn Carlson as executive director. He replaces A.J. "Pete" Reixach Jr., who retired in April. Phyllis Saathoff was the acting port director, but recently took her name out of the running for the permanent post to take an executive job at the Port of Houston.
