Procter & Gamble has renewed and expanded its contract for global supply chain management technology and services with the cloud-based supply chain technology provider GT Nexus, the software company said this week.
P&G has been using the GT Nexus platform since 2001 to manage its global logistics spend. Its expanded agreement gives users centralized transportation management and visibility into inventory flows across the global supply chain.
“Supply chains are networks that require a different class of technology,” said Sean Feeney, chief executive officer at GT Nexus, in a statement. “Over the past few years many companies have steadily extended GT Nexus across different regions, essentially turning on the lights internally and at partners.”
