World Liner Supply Summary — July 2007 report
The World Liner Supply reporting service is designed to help ocean carriers, non-vessel-operating common carriers, forwarders, shippers, ports and analysts monitor competition and capacity trends in liner shipping.
The summary report calculates the up-to-date ship capacity of each alliance, carrier, service and trade route on the world’s 12 major trade lanes. WLS covers all the liner services in a trade and gives a timely analytical assessment of total capacity supply from quarter to quarter that reflects changes in services or in the number or size of the ships deployed.
The reports feature a unique analytical summary of service changes and fleet changes by trade, including a highlight of carriers that have entered the trade or have expanded aggressively in the latest quarter. The complete reports, in spreadsheet format, are available to subscribers of ComPair Data.
