K+N says 'muted consumption' felt by 3PLs

   Kuehne + Nagel had a profit of 279 million Swiss francs ($283 million) in the first half of 2012, 11 percent less than the 314 million Swiss francs earned in the same 2011 period.     The earnings reflect a 65 million Swiss franc fine imposed on K+N on March 28 by the European Commission for price fixing.
