Maersk slows Flagship loop, adds Qingdao

The ocean carrier Maersk Line has added a new port call at Qingdao, China, and an additional vessel to its weekly TP5 service between Asia and the west coast of North America. Roundtrip voyage time on the TP5 has increased from 35 days to 42 days, and transit times have been increased by a few days in both directions, now taking 22 days between Kobe, Japan and Los Angeles, and 18 days on the return.
