Yusen Logistics opens Far East Russia office
The Russian arm of Yusen Logistics has opened a Far East Branch in
Nakhodka, Russia, a port city about 53 miles east of Vladivvostok.
Previously operating mainly in cities on the Europe side of Russia such
as Moscow and St Petersburg, Yusen Logistics RUS LLC said the new branch in Nakhodka was created to respond to growing demand for
logistics services between Eurasia and the Asia Pacific region.
The container terminal Vostochny Port, located in the Nakhodka suburb of
Vrangel, is linked to the Trans-Siberian Railway. The office is also
located within a three-hour drive of Vladivostok Airport.
said the new office will provide ocean freight forwarding of automotive
parts and consumer goods, distribution to Russian inland areas and CIS
countries using the Trans-Siberian Railway, and import and export
