COSCO will increase rates on all cargo from the Far East to East Coast South America on June 15. Rates will increase $750 per TEU; $1,500 per FEU; and $1,500 per 40-foot highcube.
CMA CGM will increase rates from all Asian ports (including Japan, Southeast Asia and Bangladesh) to Jeddah, Ain Sukhna, Aqaba, Djibouti, Port Sudan, Aden and Hodeidah on June 1. Rates will increase $300 per TEU.
The carrier will also increase rates on cargo from the United Arab Emirates to Zanzibar, Tanzania, on June 1. Rates will increase $150 per TEU.
Hamburg Sud will increase rates on dry and refrigerated cargo from Eastern and Western Canada to Australia/New Zealand on July 1. Rates will increase $250 per TEU and $500 per FEU.
Maersk will increase rates from the U.S. East
Coast, West Coast and Gulf Coast to New Zealand and Australia on July 1.
