Virginia ports see 8.3% rise in box traffic in first 9 months

   The Port of Virginia handled 182,318 TEUs in September, an increase of 11 percent when compared with totals from the same month last year.    Year-to-date, the port has handled 1,546,087 TEUs vs. 1,427,008 TEUs handled during the same period last year, an increase of 8.3 percent.    Rodney W.
