Vanguard Logistics Services announced Thursday the opening of an office in Lima, Peru, and said it will provide full commercial and operational services to customers from the new location.
Peru is the most recent addition to Vanguard's Latin American presence, which includes offices in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico.
Peru’s stable economy, and the fact that trade and industry development are outpacing growth rates in other parts of the region, made it the next logical step in expanding service coverage in Latin America, Vanguard said in a statement.
"We can now offer our customers in Peru the same level of local service and global connectivity that we offer at our other Vanguard offices throughout the region. It is exciting to have expanded Vanguard's coverage to include one of the fastest-growing markets in the region," said Maria Eugenia Morales, manager, Vanguard Lima.
