Non-vessel-operating common carrier Vanguard Logistics Services has added offices in Hanoi and Haiphong, Vietnam.
Vanguard opened its first office in the Southeast Asian country’s Ho Chi Minh City in 2007. In 2012, Vanguard Danang was started.
"We have had agents in both (Hanoi and Haiphong) since 2004, but now we are officially adding these points to our Vanguard network of offices," said Jeff Lee, Vanguard’s managing director for Southeast Asia, Middle East and Indian Subcontinent, in a statement.
There is a staff of 15 in the Hanoi office, 10 in Haiphong, 6 in Danang and 35 in Ho Chi Minh. There is also staff at the container freight stations in Haiphong, Hanoi and Danang, the NVO said.
Vanguard now offers more than 20 direct export services from Vietnam with links to hundreds more through Vanguard's own connections in Singapore, Hong Kong, Antwerp, Hamburg, Dubai, and the United States. Vanguard Vietnam also offers 20 direct import services with many other connections to Vietnam available through Hong Kong and Singapore.
