Union finds holes in FAA's fatigue rationale

The Independent Pilots Association has found that the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration overstated the costs associated with applying its new pilot-fatigue rules to cargo carriers by at least $175 million. The FAA made a decision to not include cargo pilots in its pilot-fatigue ruling due to a perceived extreme cost.
