U.S. container imports rise 4.4% in June

   U.S. import container volume rose 4.4 percent year-on-year in June, according to figures from the trade intelligence firm Zepol Corp.    Import volume rose 4.7 percent in the second quarter of 2012, compared to the same period in 2011.    Volume, however, dropped 3.7 percent from May.    “Last year saw a comparable trend in the summer months with a moderate dip in June, but spikes in July and August,” Zepol said....
