The consulting and training firm Trade Facilitators Inc. has added executive search services to its offerings.
TFI said it will specialize in matching operational, sales and finance professionals with firms from the freight forwarding, customs brokerage and third-party logistics industry.
Daniel Gardner, president of the company, said "there is a genuine need in this space for a company that comes directly from the third party logistics and supply chain industry. We think we have the operational credibility, industry contacts and eye for talent that can make a real difference for both companies and candidates."
Gardner has held executive positions at Fritz, DHL, and Pacer, and taught at Florida International University and The University of Miami.
His forthcoming book How to Use International Trade Terms for Competitive Advantage & Financial Gain
will be published in July and is a 100-page study guide that covers Incoterms 2010 and international sales contracts.
