Southwest lobbies for DC slot exemption

In its quest to receive an exemption from the airport slot requirement at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington, D.C., Southwest Airlines recently unveiled a petition to gauge support for nonstop service from William P. Hobby Airport in Houston and now has more than 10,000 signatures.
