Shipping groups say they never acted improperly

Two key trade associations representing domestic shipping companies, labeled in a civil antitrust lawsuit last month as "co-conspirators," say they have not been accused of any wrongdoing and were mentioned in the lawsuit only because some of their members were named as defendants.
