Schneider to swap one-third of fleet in 2012

   Schneider National has announced plans to swap out roughly one-third of its fleet by the end of 2012.    The trucking company is investing in 3,000 new 2012 and 2013 tractors, chiefly from Freightliner. Schneider said it’s replacing trucks at a rate of 75 per week.    With this refresh, the company is adding in a series of upgrades to the fleet.
