PAR completes logistics unit sale

PAR Technology Corp. has completed the asset sale of its PAR Logistics Management Systems (PAR LMS) to ORBCOMM, a New Jersey-based global satellite data communications company. The total selling price is valued at about $6 million in cash and ORBCOMM common stock with a potential additional earn-out of $4 million.
