Old Dominion has moved its Asheville Service Center, which it has maintained in North Carolina since 1997, to a larger facility. The 43-door space employs 33 people, and officials say the new space will fuel the company's expansion into the western part of the state.
The Asheville Service Center is one of eight Old Dominion facilities in North Carolina.
“Old Dominion has witnessed considerable growth during its 16 years in Asheville, and this larger, modern facility will allow us to better accommodate customers new and old alike,” Old Dominion's Charles Price said in a statement. “The extra space will also allow for future growth in the region.”
