North Carolina ports authority promotes Miles

The North Carolina State Ports Authority has named Jeffrey E. Miles as deputy executive director for operations. Tom Bradshaw, who became executive director of the North Carolina authority in August, said Miles "is leading the development of our strategic plan, working with various departments internal and external to the N.C.
