NYK's TP volumes rise in April

The liner carrier NYK Line said in an operational update last week its volume on the eastbound transpacific rose 17 percent year-on-year in April. The line carried 55,000 TEUs on the headhaul transpacific during the month, compared to 47,000 TEUs in the same month in 2011. April is the first month of NYK’s fiscal year.
