Military Sealift Command appoints Pacific commander

   The U.S. Navy's Military Sealift Command said Thursday Capt. Sylvester Moore has assumed command of its Pacific operations.    Moore replaces Capt. Jerome F. Hamel.    The Pacific Command is responsible for Military Sealift Command ships operating in the Eastern Pacific and is 'dual-hatted' as Commander, Task Force 33, directing the underway delivery of fuel, provisions, ordnance and towing services to Navy warships in the U.S. 3rd Fleet.    Moore come...
