Maersk to assess sizable inland haulage fee

   Maersk Line said this week it will raise rates on its U.S. inland-haulage import (IHI) services from Oct. 7.    The increase - $900 per 20-foot container, $1,000 per 40-foot container, $1,125 per 40-foot high-cube container, and $1,265 per 45-foot high-cube container - is applicable on shipments from Los Angeles and Long Beach to the inland destinations of Newark, North Baltimore, Philadelphia, Savannah, Atlanta, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Columbus, Evansville, Georgetown, Loui...
