Maersk switches Mombasa loop to Dar es Salaam

   The ocean carrier Maersk Line has switched from calling Mombasa in favor of a new call at Dar es Salaam and slowed down its Mombasa Express service between the Middle East and East Africa, increasing roundtrip voyage time from 28 days to 35 days.    The carrier has also changed the name of the service from the Mombasa Express to the Dar Express.     This move closely follows Maersk’s matching decision to speed up its Middle East-East Africa Masiika Express and swi...
