Maersk resumes Europe-to-Asia bookings

   Maersk Line on Friday confirmed to American Shipper that it has resumed accepting bookings on the eastbound trade from Europe to Asia.    The line had stopped accepting bookings in late March due to a backlog of cargo in Europe, a story reported first by American Shipper on March 21.    The backlog was created, Maersk said, by cancellations of sailings following the Chinese New Year and was estimated to be cleared by early May.    But a Maersk spokesperson told Am...
