Maersk, Hamburg Sud boost Asia-WCSA connections

   In separate developments that would boost capacity in the Asia-west coast South America trade, three loops operated variously by Maersk Line, Hamburg Sud and partners China Shipping, Hanjin, CCNI and Hyundai Merchant Marine are being altered.    Maersk Line has added three ships to its nine-ship Asia-Balboa AC3 loop, and extended its rotation south to San Antonio and San Vicente in Chile.
