MSC suspends NZ strike surcharge

The ocean carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. has temporarily suspended the implementation of an 'SKR' strike surcharge on shipments between the U.S.A. and New Zealand from Aug. 15 to Sep. 1, subject to ongoing review of the industrial dispute in New Zealand's ports. The surcharge, appliccable to U.S. exports, is for $110 per 20-foot and $220 per 40-foot continer. ...
