Long Beach widens deputy exec director search

   The Port of Long Beach said Monday it has launched a nationwide search to fill its deputy executive director post, which has been vacant since its former occupant, Christopher Lytle was promoted to executive director in January.    The Southern California port said it's seeking “a strong and experienced senior-level executive” to support the executive director in the planning, organizing, directing and managing day-to-day operations at the nation’s second biggest seaport.  ...
