   The U.S. Transportation Department will give a $17.8 million grant to reconstruct two major taxiways at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.    The Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program (AIP) grant will allow for the rehabilitation of 5,000 feet of Taxiway E, which runs parallel to and between the airport’s north-south runways.
