Kronos buys U.K. logistics company

Kronos Inc., which develops workforce management and optimization software, is furthering its reach in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) through the acquisition of United Kingdom-based SMART Computer Holdings and its affiliate SMART Human Logistics. While financial terms were not disclosed, the company did say it was a cash transaction.
