IAG Cargo will launch another routing between London Heathrow and Hyderabad, bringing the total weekly service to seven flights, to be flown on a Boeing 777-200 plane.
The new plane will bring a 50 percent increase in cargo capacity to the route, which IAG hopes will tap into growth in the Indian pharmaceutical market. According to the India Brand Equity Foundation, the pharmaceutical industry will be worth $35.9 billion by 2016.
“Today’s announcement is excellent news for businesses in Hyderabad, offering customers more cargo space and schedule flexibility than ever before. Businesses in Hyderabad are always looking for ways to connect their production facilities with markets across the globe,” IAG Cargo’s John Cheetham said in a statement.
