Hanjin announces Asia-Europe rate hike

   Ocean carrier Hanjin Shipping said it will increase Asia-Europe freight rates on Dec. 16 "to cover the losses caused by the falling freight rates and maintain the quality of its services."     The increase of $600 per 20-foot container and $1,200 per 40-foot box covers cargo moving from the Far East, Southeast Asia, Middle East and Indian subcontinent to North Europe, Baltic, Scandinavian and Mediterranean destinations. - Chris Dupin ...
