Forward transpacific container rates at mid-2012 levels

   Container derivative prices on the transpacific have largely rebounded to mid-2012 levels, according to information from London-based ICAP Shipping.    The forward curve on the Asia-U.S. West Coast lane was at around $2,500 per FEU in January, according to ICAP’s container forward prices released Friday.
