The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission has received 12 license applications and changes for review.
The FMC received non-vessel-operating common carrier/ocean freight forwarder license applications from Barker International, Naperville, Ill. (Peter R. Barker, president); Efrinsa Global Logistics, Miami (Christian Urquizo, director); Inter-Commerce Exports, Houston (James Santamaria, president); NDA Worldwide Logistics Corp., Los Angeles (Norman D. Arauz, president); Stealth Logistics, Dover, Del. (Daryl T. Washington, president); and Worldwide Shipping Corp., Rowland Heights, Calif. (Willie Wu, president).
The agency also received ocean freight forwarder license applications from A-1 Fargo Van and Storage, Miami (Treva E. Ward, vice president); Avantage Worldwide Co., Seattle (Victor Viet Quoc Tran, member); Lawrence Family Enterprises, Marietta, Ga. (Jimmy F. Lawrence, vice president); and MMC Logistics, Atlanta (John S. Chihade, manager).
In addition, the FMC received applications for a change to a qualifying individual from Bruzzone Shipping, Freeport, N.Y. (Victor J. Bruzzone, president); and for the addition of trade names from OTX Logistics, Los Angeles (Stacy Allen-Kohn, vice president) to include PAC Worldwide Transport Co., PAC International Logistics Co., and Book Express Network.
