NOL Group, the Singapore parent of the liner company APL, has appointed Tom Behrens-Sørensen to its board of directors.

European Union Chamber of Commerce and of the Danish Chamber of Commerce
in China. He has been an advisor to various provincial governments in
China and currently serves on the boards of ECCO Holding, Odense
Maritime Technology, Red Sea Gateway Terminal and the China Merchants
He will join the Board on July 1 and will serve as a member of both
the Executive Resource & Compensation Committee and the Enterprise
Risk Management Committee
Delta Air Lines Chief Executive Officer Richard Anderson has begun his one-year term as chairman of the International Air Transport Association. He succeeds Alan Joyce, CEO and managing director of Qantas Airways.
Anderson was named Delta CEO in 2007. He previously worked at Continental Airlines and was CEO of Northwest Airlines from 2001 to 2004.
Among the chief concerns for IATA is developing a market-based carbon reduction scheme and improving aviation safety in Africa.
