APL has named Peter Jongepier as regional president of its European business. Jongepier will be responsible for APL’s commercial activities in Europe, including the former Soviet Union and Turkey. He will be based in Uxbridge in the United Kingdom. He joined APL in 1995 and has held a number of senior positions within the liner carrier.
