C.R. England, a Salt Lake City-based trucking company, has named Josh England as the company's new chief financial officer.
He replaces Keith Wallace, who has retired after 20 years with the company. England previously served as president of non-asset-based logistics and truck brokerage England Logistics.
Jason Beardall, formerly executive vice president at England Logistics, will succeed England as president of the logistics and truck broker unit.
The Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) has elected Barry D. Michaels, vice president of intermodal operations at Union Pacific Railroad Co., to board chairman.
He succeeds David Manning, president of Tennessee Express, who remains a board member. Michaels previously served as chairman in 2004 and 2005.
The 13-member IANA board also elected Phil Shook, director of intermodal operations at C.H. Robinson Worldwide, as its 2013 vice chairman, and Don Aiken, vice president of intermodal operations at Schneider National, as treasurer.
The third party logistics provider OHL has appointed Randy Tucker as president of the company’s contract logistics division.
Tucker was most recently executive vice president of human resources and project management officer for OHL. Long-time president of OHL contract logistics Bob Spieth is leaving the company to take an executive position with an e-retailer, OHL said.
Tucker joined OHL in 2011, previously serving in executive positions with Liberty’s Legacy and ITC-Deltacom.
Following the Luxembourg government’s purchase of a 35-percent stake in Cargolux from Qatar Airways, Cargolux has made some changes to its 13-person board.
Paul Helminger, who served as mayor of Luxembourg City for the past 12 years, has been elected as chairman. The previous chairman, Albert Wildgen, left when Qatar sold its stake in the carrier. Paul Mousel, Patrick Nickels and Alphonse Berns also joined the board.
TSC Container Freight, the non-vessel-operating common carrier of The Scoular Co., named Steve Caskey its sales and country manager for Canada.
Caskey was most recently representing a forwarding company in Montreal, and previous to that worked for Cast North America/CP Ships.
Cleveland-based Great Lakes Shipyard recently appointed Paul W. Deterding to vice president and general manager.
Formerly the general manager at Donjon Shipbuilding and Repair, Deterding brings more than 25 years of experience in the marine, electrical and fire protection industries.
David Dudley was named shipyard foreman for new construction and repair. He previously worked for International Ship Repair & Marine Service.
Paul M. Hendricks was appointed assistant vice president of new construction. He was formerly project manager for Newport News Industrial.
