DHL has received approval from the Australian government to collect and recycle products on behalf of television and computer importers and domestic manufacturers. Australia’s National Television and Computer Recycling Scheme aims to reduce the number of electronic products ending up in landfills, and will boost the recycling rate for these products from 17 percent in 2010 to 80 percent by 2021.
