Class action certified against top 4 U.S. railroads

   A federal court last week granted class certification to a group of direct purchasers of rail freight who are seeking damages for what they say was a price-fixing conspiracy by the four largest U.S. railroads—Union Pacific, BNSF, CSX and Norfolk Southern.    The National Industrial Transportation League said the order from Judge Paul L.
