Chapman Freeborn takes 747-400 from Atlas

   Atlas Air Worldwide has signed a multi-year contract with Chapman Freeborn Airchartering to provide Boeing 747-400 freighter service under an ACMI (an aircraft, complete crew, maintenance, and insurance) arrangement starting in April.    Although Chapman Freeborn has a number of 747-series freighters under contract, this is its first 747-400.    Chapman Freeborn has been a customer of Atlas’ for the past 12 years.    “We are glad to partner with Atlas Air,” C...
