CSAV signs loan for last of seven ships

   CSAV said Wednesday that it has obtained a 12-year, $90 million loan with the German bank DVB that will be used to complete the financing of the final two ships in a series of seven built by Samsung Heavy Industries.    CSAV took delivery of the sixth of those ships this week and said the remaining ship will be delivered this month.    The 8,000-TEU ships are being chartered to Maersk though next summer, but the company said their purchase is part of a strategy to increase ...
