CP strike ends, begins to resume service
|
Canadian Pacific Railway said it was re-starting operations Friday morning, ending a 10 day strike. Legislation ordering 4,800 workers back to work was passed on Friday by Canada's Senate and CP told customers in a notice that "the embargo application for shipments routing to and from CP Canadian locations has been rescinded" and that intermodal terminals are resuming normal hours.
