COSCO raising transpacific bunker rates

The liner carrier COSCO Container Lines said Monday it plans to hike bunker rates on the transpacific trade from April 1. The line’s bunker adjustment factor will move to: $429 per 20-foot container, $536 per 40-foot container, $603 per 40-foot high-cube or high-cube refrigerated container, and $679 per 45-foot container for all cargo moving to U.S. West Coast ports and for intermodal cargo via these ports destined to points California, Oregon, and Washington. $724 per 20-foot con...
