CMA CGM joins transatlantic rate increase chase

   The French liner carrier CMA CGM has joined a number of other lines in seeking to boost transatlantic rate levels.    The line said Thursday it will increase rates by $300 per 20-foot container and $400 per 40-foot container from Northern Europe and the Mediterranean to the U.S. East Coast.
