CMA CGM hiking rates on Asia-Latin America routes

   CMA CGM said it was implementing general rate increases Jan. 1 on several routes out of Asia.    The French carrier said it will raise rates $500 per TEU on containers moving from Asia to the east or west coast of South America, the west coast of Central America, and Mexico.    It also said it will raise rates on containers moving from Asia to the Caribbean by $700 on 20-foot containers and $1,000 per on 40-foot containers. - Chris Dupin ...
