Argentine labor strike cripples transport

A 24-hour general strike across Argentina has shut down operations at ports and airports, and for rail and trucking operations countrywide. It’s anticipated that all ships will remain at anchorage or berth, depending on conditions. Immigration, customs, health and agriculture staff will all be involved in the strike, as well as port administration employees, Inchcape Shipping Services said in a notice.
