Agentrics NeoGrid, which develops supply chain optimization and management tools, has started a new cloud-based collaboration portal, the NeoGrid Portal.
The portal integrates all the company’s existing tools and services, as well as a customer’s supply chain partners, to establish a single point of access for managing an entire network and collaborating with partners. Collaboration projects it supports revolve around stock levels, automation, and availability of products to the store shelf.
Included in the portal’s are access to all Agentrics NeoGrid solutions with a single login; sales and marketing support; demand planning and replenishment; global sourcing and procurement; logistics and financial exchange data; and electronic data exchange and e-invoicing to select governments.
The portal will be deployed first in Brazil, with initial access granted to clients present at the 2012 Supply Chain Link, Agentrics NeoGrid’s annual client event that took place earlier this month.
The company said its platform will require no upfront investment or additional equipment, and the platform can adapt to any size supply chain and use existing infrastructure for its initial deployment.
Agentrics was created in 2005 from the merger of Worldwide Retail Exchange and GlobalNetXchange, and was acquired by NeoGrid in September 2008. NeoGrid is a Brazilian software as a service-based supply chain management services provider.
